3 Day Hangovers, The Rise of George, The Fall of Rudy

Let's just say that it's Tuesday morning, and I'm still feeling very beat up from Saturday night. Drinking from 7:30 PM to 3 AM? At 21, this equals fun. At almost 27, this equals fun at the time, then roughly 2-3 days of feeling like holy death. Really, spending all day Sunday feeling like I was punched in the stomach? Bad times.

That being said, the party/fundraiser at the LVT on Saturday was one of the best times I've had in a long time. We had roughly 70 people, killed 2 kegs in about 4 and a half hours, and as far as I know, everyone had a really good time. Granted, as far as I know, I had a good time, but I'm not 100% sure. I am thankful that it worked out as well as it did, I was worried that we'd have a subpar turnout, and that I'd feel like a big jackass for thinking it could work. Fortunately, everyone on our team did a great job of getting a lot of fun, cool people to show, so the hardest thing I had to do all night was walk around with an envelope of money on my arm without losing it, and put wristbands on people's arms without anyone losing too much arm-hair.

Grey's Anatomy

My first mistake in writing about this show is that I go to the writer's blog after every episode, so I take what I already think about the episode, then add it to that, and I feel like I'm not making any points that haven't already been made. However, I will say a couple of things. 1) Having George narrate the episode was really cool, and a great change of pace. We always see everything through Meredith's eyes, and as she gets more pathetic, and more lost in her own despair, it's good to see her through someone else's eyes. 2) I liked how they built the entire episode around karma, seeing people getting what they deserve for their actions, both good and bad. And 3) I know we're 19 episodes into the season, and I'm really mad that it's going to be over soon.

Sarah and Sharda are going to kill me for this, significantly, but it's good to see stupid Rudy get his. He was awful! And you guys, if you were watching the show, you'd know what I'm talking about, so you can't defend him anymore. Also, apparently Tony and Kim are coming back next week, which means this thing is really going to escalate.

I'm very disappointed in you Gordo. And don't get too attached to Kim.
